CAPS Unlock, in collaboration with the Almaty regional government, invites you to attend a presentation and discussion of a new study exploring opportunities for small and medium-sized businesses in Kazakhstan’s green economy. The event will be held in the capital of the Almaty region, Konayev, on February 19.
The event will present practical findings relevant to policy decision-making, including how prepared businesses are to invest in green solutions, the main barriers and drivers they face, and which support measures are most in demand. The discussion will bring together local authorities, local businesses, and researchers working on the energy transition.
The study was supported by the Embassy of Canada in Kazakhstan through the Canada Fund for Local Initiatives (CFLI).
Non-Kazakhstani residents will need to bring their passports.
Event language: Russian, with discussion also possible in Kazakh and English.
