LEAVE KIND TRACES

February 26, 2026

In our Akmola region, there is a magical place called Borovoe – often referred to as the pearl of Kazakhstan. I love going there with my family, walking among the tall pine trees, listening to the birds sing, and watching the reflection of the cliffs in the lake’s clear waters.

But it makes me sad to see how much trash tourists leave behind. Plastic bottles, bags, and other waste end up in the water and harm our nature, the Zhumbaktas rock, and the animals that live there. Fish and birds can suffer, and the lake’s beauty begins to fade.

I truly wish that people would take better care of our land and leave behind only kind memories – not garbage. Let’s protect nature together, so that even many years from now, Borovoe remains just as magical and clean!
